nausicaa83: (nighttime)
Things are getting worst. They operated her again, but still the situation is tragic. The doctors say we need some help from above.

Me, I'm home again, as my aunt came to stay with me for the next four days. All we can do is wait.

Our Garden

I hear the distant ring of bells
They are not the ring of piety
They are piteous and cold
I have worn my black band
I have cried in the night

We are going to live
In the garden we made
We are going to live there
Fate has robbed us all ready
It will not take you

Watch the sunrise with me
See it turn dark amber
In the infinite pasture
Warm and welcoming
Stay here with me

I lie down in our garden
Caressed by honeysuckles and bluebells
Watering them with my tears
Waiting till you come back
To spend the rest of our years

We have lost too much already
We have wept for far too long
This garden is ours
It is our home
But it cannot be home without you

I am not ready to let you go
We have too much to live for
Those gone before
They we loved so dear
They have each other and I have you

Awaken in the sunlight room
Look past the fluttering curtains
See me standing here
Amidst our beautiful garden
Waiting for you to come back home

Thanks, Lindsay ([livejournal.com profile] ren_aleria), for your wonderful poem. I can't say how much I appreciated it.
