I wouldn't be too worried. all the actors have said several times they'd love to keep doing it for years, and it's a very lucrative one, it would make no sense for the BBC to stop it at three seasons. I wasn't worried at all when they kept saying on twitter the second one was the last one, because after all, at its core, it's just like any other business, it's about making money. As long as they make money, get awards, and the actors keep coming back, it's all fine.
