I was reading

cleolinda's journal, and I stumbled upon some POTC 3 discussions, and much to my surprise, it looks like the movie did have a happy ending! The scene after the credits simply showed us Will coming back after ten years to Elizabeth and their son, so I thought it was just his first free day. But it looks like the screenwriters said in a interview that the Davy Jones' legend says he could be freed from the curse of being Captain of the Flying Dutchman if, after the first ten years, he finds a loving wife waiting for him. That actually explains why he was SO pissed off at Calypso. O_o So, as Elizabeth IS waiting for Will, the green flash means that Will is freed from his curse, and can come back and live on land.

So, it was a happy ending! \o/ But, I must admit I would have never realized it if I hadn't read that. Now it makes a lot more sense. I hate it how they put such important sequences after the credits, though.

That said, I haven't slept at all last night. I feel soooo tired. And I didn't even have some coffee! I just layed there feeling tired but I couldn't fall asleep... =_= Now I feel all sleepy and weak... maybe I should get myself some hot milk, or something like that, and see if I can sleep in the afternoon at least.

Mmm...Non mi piace affatto il finale di "Pirates" se è come dice la leggenda.Ho trovato il film deludente,mi galvanizzavo solo per la brutta fine che facevano i due (che poi tanto brutta non era) e invece...

Sempre mezza cotta, e ho una gran fame. O_O Secondo me deve essere anche il tempo, una settimana di acquazzoni, poi torna il sole, poi piove, poi torna il sole. E con l'occhio operato tutti 'sti sbalzi di umidità fanno un male... mi sa che ancora non si è decisa bene che stagione è.

Va bene, lo ammetto, anch'io odiavo Will e Elizabeth dal secondo film, quindi non ero proprio disperata. :D Mi è dispiaciuto MOLTO di più per Norrington, povero sfigato, che modo di andarsene. E adesso mi chiedo se magari, se avesse accettato il patto con Davy Jones, poi sarebbe stato liberato da Will... O_o come dire, fare l'eroe alla fine è un'idea molto stupida.

Il finale secondo me resta solo quello di Jack sulla sua barchetta, che canta "Yo-ho, a pirate's life for me", è proprio perfetto. ^^

O__o Ah. Ma uno che non si è letto l'intervista degli sceneggiatori come fa a capirlo, se lo sogna di notte? XDDD E io che mi immaginavo Will che dopo l'incontro con Elizabeth e figlio raccontava per 10 anni fila al padre quanto l'amava, quanto era bella, quanto era simpatica... (facendogli così rimpiangere gli anni passati con Davy Jones e le sue sonate da organo!).

Sì, in effetti è impossibile capirlo. Quello che davvero non ha senso è che sarebbe stato molto meglio far raccontare la leggenda a Gibbs o qualcun'altro, e in questo modo anche la scena tra Davy Jones e Calypso avrebbe acquistato molto più spessore. Alla fine del film, uno dei miei commenti era stato "ma perchè Calypso non si era fatta trovare quell'unico giorno in 10 anni, per poi spassarsela e cornificarlo allegramente il resto del tempo senza che lui lo sapesse?". Dai, non aveva senso! E anche il tradimento di cui parla Davy Jones... altro che corna, qua si tratta di schiavitù eterna, ora sì che ha motivo di essere parecchio girato!

Insomma, hanno tolto un pò dello spessore che poteva avere quella storyline... e io già che mi immaginavo Will che si faceva Elizabeth una volta ogni 10 anni, producevano a ogni giro un nuovo figlio, e via così finchè Elizabeth non ha 60 anni. XD

IDEM!!!!!!!!!!!!! Comunque è la stessa cosa che ci siamo chieste io Gardy e co. quando abbiamo visto quella scena....è lei che si giustifica con un "E' la mia natura!" tutta sorridente! MA POVERO DISGRAZIATO, HA FATTO BENE AD INCAVOLARSI!
Tra l'altro io farei anche notare quanto Will Turner sia somigliante a Shaoran: sgobba come un matto, cade, si ferisce, si impegna più che può e la scena gli viene costantemente rubata dagli altri XDD Pover uomo...

Giusta obiezione. In genere i personaggi clampici aspettano anni e anni per avere un destino ancora più schifoso di quello che avevano prima (leggi=Subaru). XD

The funny thing is, I read so many bad reviews about the movie that talked about how the movie was so dark and morbid, and how a main character dies at the end and doesn't come back. Obviously, these people never sat through the credits. I went in there actually expecting a sad ending and was pleasantly surprised. Even before the credits, it was still a happy ending because Elizabeth promised she'd be waiting. Plus Capt. Jack got his rum and Barbossa got his ship back. Everything worked out for everyone. Well, except Davy Jones.

And Norrington.... ;__;

Well, at least Norrington got that sexy Keira Knightley kiss he'd been griping for since the first movie. Man, that girl gets around in this trilogy.

Yep, I guess that's why every girl in the planet hates her. XD

I wonder who else she made out with off-screen? If they had any sexy scenes between her and Bill Nighy, they could've made quite a pretty penny for it in Japan. :P

As Tati says, poor Norrington. I'm wondering, if he had joined Davy Jones' crew instead of dying, in a couple of days he would have be freed by Will... it's like, James, it isn't really the right time to play the hero. :P

Even if Norrington did join the crew, I think it might be a conflict of interest for Will to free the guy who wants to boink his wife while he goes away for ten years. I mean, Will wasn't even gone for a day, and Elizabeth was already playing tongue hockey with him on the Dutchman.

Beh, ma solo il figlio dello sceneggiatore poteva capirlo! Tutto il sole delle Bahamas e i miliardi degli incassi hanno fatto davvero male a chi ha dovuto inventarsi il nuovo script.

Il film tiene abbastanza, ma non è questa perla, anzi. A parte evidenti forzature e pezzi che si potevano ampiamente tagliare (a mio parere tutto il pezzo di Jack nel forziere era davvero forzato e calcato, la stessa cosa si poteva far capire in due minuti e non 10 e passa!), il tutto sa un po' di già visto e detto, Depp è bravo ma non può aggiungere a un personaggio che ormai è prevedibile nelle sue mosse, e, nella fretta di girare due film insieme, certe parti risultano piuttosto contraddittorie o abbozzate lì.

Ok, sono pronta a essere uccisa dalle fan di Depp e della saga. Ma questo è quello che penso! XD

Probabilmente è vero, anche se avendo ancora fresca la sequenza dei Cannibali del secondo film, qualsiasi sequenza di questo film mi è sembrata brevissima... :P

Beh in effetti qualche minuto potevano tagliarlo nei deliri da "tropo sole" di Jack sulla Perla deserta. Tutto quel bianco iniziavo a non sopportarlo, come hai fatto a resistere Nausi?

Ho chiuso l'occhio! :P Avevo già tante stelline nell'angolo sx, ancora un pò e li vedevo pure io i cloni di Jack. =_=
