News, on saturday I finally decided, out of the blue, to watch my dad's homemade movies of our holidays together, which he made back in 1997 and 1998. Both years we went to the lake, so a good 80% of the film is about ducks, and water, and swans, but after a while I could finally watch my family again. They were moving, talking, laughing and waving at the camera. I had always refused to watch them, but strangely I didn't cry. I'm not sure how I felt about them, it was all so far away from me, as if they were from a previous life. I'm not sure if it was a good idea, as the insomnia is back. ^^" But seeing my dad and my sis after so many years was such a... warm feeling, I can put up with a couple of sleepless nights. ^^

Succede anche a me quando guardo dei filmini girati in cui c'è mamma...mi succede anche guardando le fotografie.Da una parte la sento come una cosa lontanissima,che non può appartenere a me.Ma dall'altra sento una tenerezza infinita,e inevitabilmente finisco col piangere.

Quella che mi sembrava più strana di tutti ero io, mi guardavo ma non riuscivo a riconoscermi. Come se fosse stato solo un sogno, ma niente di reale...

Bonus points for you! :D I didn't like the cartoon that much (it was a rip off of anime like Laputa and Nadia, and the StarGate movie), but I loved Helga, she had such funny lines:

"I came down the chimney. Ho ho ho."

Yeah, after watching Laputa, I couldn't believe how much of it Disney actually ripped off. The crystal, the robots, the flying machines... all it was missing were some air pirates and a shirt ripping contest.

Got around to watching Gene Kelly deflecting lasers with his umbrella! That's hilarious!

Maybe the jedis should have used umbrellas at the end of RotS, and the future of the galaxy would have been very different... :D
