I just finished reading Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Café. I loved the movie as a kid, I watched it lots of times, and at last I read the book. It was really beautiful, and it reminded me a bit of Gabriel García Márquez's Cien años de soledad, with its naturalistic writing, and the characters who looked so alive and real. Now I want to see the movie again, even if I'll probably cry, because it reminds me so much of mom, dad and Alice and the evenings spent watching it.

Tomorrow I'll spend the day with mom's best friend, we'll have lunch together and then we'll go to the hospital. It's been a while since I last saw her, and I can't wait to spend some time with her, chit-chatting and so. She's such a lovely person! ^^

EDIT: XXX-Holic #118 translations here. I want to see the scans! It's like...whoa... Clamp are so evil! They enjoy making their characters suffer from horrible fates...:'(

EDIT 2: Here for the chinese raws. Password is: shenshi. Poor Himawari-chan... :(
