Regarding mutants.
It's 1 am, I just came home. I saw X-Men Days Of Future Past.
It was bloody AMAZING.
We laughed, we cried, we cheered, we cried some more. It was perfect. The seventies were so perfect it was like watching Life on Mars. Quicksilver was perfect. Everything is perfect. I may or may not be a little high on this film right now. More coherent thoughts when I wake up tomorrow.

And can we please give an Oscar to James McAvoy? He was incredible. Everytime he talked to Raven he made me cry, and those scenes with the drugs, and his friendship with Logan, lddksjfhfghfdkjghgjfkh my baby!!!
And they made Charles/Erik canon, what with Logan saying they're in love, and with Magneto's death scene, and the hand-holding, my poor heart couldn't take it!
And the happy ending!!! And Peter Dinklage!!! And the end of the world depending on one act of mercy, and it being Raven's choice, and how Charles finally learns to treat her equally, like a loved one, not like a child, and he stops being patronizing to women and everything was great and I wanted to hug everyone, even Erik. I love him, but he can be such a dick.

The Pentagon-scene, it was just awesome!!! Everything!!!
And yes please!!! An oscar for James McAvoy, most of the time I prefer the evil characters (you know, like Loki, and also Erik...) but HE!!! I´m deeply in love with his character Charles. And Erik x Charles, that´s just OTP!!! SO MUCH!!!
And Raven was so oh my god, I felt SO SORRY for everything she had to take in her life and she doesn´t know it. The film was perfect. Just perfect. Also our local newspaper I write for said it and that made me REALLY happy :D :D :D

And the second time around I ended up really, really appreciating Logan and Charles' friendship. It's so clear how much Charles means to Logan, what with giving him a home, a family, and peace of mind, and it's so heartbreaking how he keeps trying to do the same thing for Charles and thinks he's not doing enough. And that scene between them, "your best is good enough", that had me in tears. I want to hug them all!
And judging from Charles' words at the end, that they're all going to be together soon, and the Apocalypse war coming in the next movie, I sure hope Erik will stop being a dick and will finally join the X-Men. Don't fight it, Erik. For god's sake, his dying wish wasn't of peace for mutantkind, of revenge against his enemies, it was of spending more time with Charles! Just get married already, everyone else will thank you for that!
