"I said, oh christ, I told you twice it's just not easy going through all these things thrice."
So yesterday I didn't get to do any therapy after all. My therapist had a family emergency, so five minutes after getting there I collected my coat and stuff and went downtown to buy some christmas gifts. Thankfully I got a lot of ideas, and I found the perfect wrapping paper for Tati's gifts too. I came home carrying a lot of bags and whistling the song from Mickey Mouse's Christmas Carol, I'd say the xmas mood is finally here. :D
When I came back I found a depot card in the mail box, and threw a Miranda hissy fit. I already have all my mornings planned next week, and according to the card the package was in a post office on the other side of town, nowhere near a bus. I called the post office, and they told me the package was damaged, and they would only keep it ten days, and then send it back. So today I embarked on a long march across town in the deepest fog. It took me almost two hours, had to cross two fields, walk around a rally (angry mob, smoke, cops and all), one sushi restaurant, a few joggers, but I finally got there, and I was really lucky because when I entered the office there was only one lady in line, and ten seconds later six other persons had entered after me. All in all, it took me five minutes to get the package, that was brutally mutilated, but for some miracle the gift within was intact. Cue dance of joy! And then I walked all the way back. Since I'm still on my stupid period, it was exhausting, so I had to stop at the store on my way back to buy red meat and eggs. It's iron-based dinner tonight, oh yeah.
I checked the weather report, and they say it's going to be foggy tomorrow too. Me, I'm going to spend the whole day at home, close to the heating, hugging the cat. ^^

Everytime I feel my xmas mood waver (because I have to walk two hours through a thick cloud, for example), I sing to myself this song (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3iDLKzs5AtA). I recently realized I have a pavlovian response to it, but instead of salivating it's Instant Christmas Mode Active, trees and snowmen and hot chocolate and presents. :D
