It's here! The new Desolation of Smaug trailer is here!!! And we can hear Benedict as Smaug!!!!

After watching the trailer, Tati and I listened to the polar bear bit in Qikiqtarjuaq straight away. It was hilarious. I truly can't believe this is the same guy, and at the same time I feel so smug because I knew it! I knew he was going to be perfect! Wow. And he doesn't even sound like the Angel Islington, or Khan. It's another voice altogether, truly a creature of fire and greed. Wow and double wow.

And the whole trailer was amazing, and I just can't wait! \o/ *happy nerd dance*

He is truly talented, it's just so refreshing to have an actor never disappoint you, especially considering the diversity of his projects.

I was also completely taken with Martin Freeman's little snippets in that trailer. All kinds of relevant comparisons between small hobbits and mighty characters came to mind: here's this epic story, such visuals, then Martin shows up, one actor, no special effects or anything and just steals the show for me!

I am so excited about this movie! And I can't believe we'll have Martin and Benedict on screen again!!*joins you and Tati in the nerdy dance*

I had goosebumbs when the trailer started, and it was all dark, and Bilbo started talking, and I realized he was in the same room with the Dragon, sdklfjhflgkhdfgh! And then Smaug talked, double hhajkahdkhfdgg!

(seriously, you have to try it: first listen to his talk about the "frensch foreign legiòn", and then switch quickly to Smaug, it'll make you ditzy!)

E' favolosooooooo!!!! La cosa triste è che a noi toccherà vederlo doppiato al cinema, ma come esce il primo dvd screener me lo rivedrò fino alla nausea!
