News from Cortina d'Ampezzo!

Second day among the Alps, I'm having so much fun! Yesterday it was cold, stormy weather, and we spent the evening wrapped in blankets watching cartoons from the 80s. Today the sun came out, I took many pictures, and we went hunting for mushrooms. Tati grew up here, so she's the one who knows her way. We walked around for more than two hours, collected lots of mushrooms, and came back just before the rain came back. It was so much fun! And now her mom is cooking them, and the scent coming from the kitchen is heavenly. There's a real fire burning, I'm this close to start singing xmas carols. Possibly Arthur's versions. :D

We did a lot of singing in the woods anyway. And in the car. I just came back, and my throat aches, we sang for three hours straight. :D
