Let's go with something different, here's a book I just bought, and haven't read yet.



Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell by Susanna Clarke, "...full of spells, bad weather, statues that talk, haunted ballrooms and sinister gentlemen with thistledown hair...", it sounds absolutely fascinating. A Dickensian setting with magicians? Too good to be true.

Talking about fanfics, since I'm in such a Sherlock mood lately, here's one of the best Sherlock fics out there:

A Very Cold Case by sagestreet. Sherlock/John, PG. Violin music, 19th-century poets, and a string of puzzles presented to Sherlock by an enigmatic client (or adversary?), who prefers to stay in the shadows. A little masterpiece.

This afternoon I'm finally seeing Black Swan. Everyone and their moms has already seen it, and it's been a nightmare avoiding spoilers, and now it's finally my turn! I'm so excited!
