Tokyo Revelations - The Magician's Message

I have to admit, I'm disappointed with this one. The character design is nothing special (Kuro-sama is horrible, but the kids are okay, and the guys from Tokyo are perfect), and the animations are mediocre. Sure, Kamui's fighting scene was great and fluid, but for 30 seconds of good oav animation, I had to go through 15 minutes of badly animated dialogue scenes. Not to mention the dialogue scenes are far more important than Kamui showing off his powers. :P

The music is beautiful, it really sets the mood, and the voice actors are superb as usual. Subaru's voice from inside the cocoon sounds a bit weird, and Nataku sounds a LOT like a guy. I was expecting some sort of androgynous voice.

I think Fuuma and Kurogane are the most badly animated guys of the bunch, what a pity. Well, them, and the bikes. :P Real!Syaoran is the best one, instead: his movements are fluid, his hair and face don't look like being cut and pasted on the background.

Vote 6/10. Maybe the next ones will look better. ^^

I just can't believe how short it was. For some reason I was under the impression that they were going to cover the entire Tokyo arc in one really long episode. I wanted to see Syaroan and Kamui's fight damn it! And Subaru!! >-< But yes, I'm starting to think no one will ever be able to capture Kurogane right. Such a pity. Fuuma wasn't horrible, but the really tall guys always seem to suffer from the animation regardless. >->
Music was instant ♥.
