The first The Hobbit - The Desolation of Smaug trailer is HERE.

It's absolutely amazing. Mostly focused on the Elves, although we get to see quite a lot of stuff. Tauriel is awesome, Thranduil's epic, there are butterflies and spiders and that final shot, oh my god. I'm sitting here squealing and flailing my arms, and I have to wait 6 more months and it's going to be awesome.

Da un punto di vista cinematografico sarebbe stato sgradevole vedere che gli elfi non se ne accorgono. E Thranduil SA chi è Thorin, nel libro no. Ma ovviamente qui lo sa perchè nel primo film si è visto che Thranduil andava a Erebor a omaggiare il re... probabilmente, io credo, rinchiuderà i nani perchè non vadano a Erebor a far casino.

Mi piace anche il fatto che dalle scene on Tauriel si capisce che approfondiranno il punto di vista degli Elfi riguardo al resto del mondo. Mi è sempre piaciuto molto il fatto che nei film gli elfi sono molto più attivi che nei libri.
