nausicaa83: (<big bang theory> blow me a kiss)

"You're the whispering kind, dark sapphire blood."

It's sunday, I'm still sick, it's raining and freezing outside and I'm bored, so how about some tv reviews?

The Big Bang Theory - The season finale made me literally tear up. So touching. We got the wedding, and I'm glad it was this cute little ceremony, and the Google Earth thing was an adorable detail. And they even used Vivaldi! *venetian pride on* For a moment there I hoped they were finally going to show us Howard's mom, but no luck there. And I loved all the scenes inside the Russian rocket, I hope we'll get to see more of the astronauts next season. :D Another detail I loved, it was how Leonard and Sheldon were all buddy buddy this episode: Leonard told him something very private and embarassing, and Sheldon and his aloe vera comment to Penny was adorable. Anyway, what made me tear up was the boldly go scene. All our beloved characters holding hands, watching their friend starting such an amazing and terrifying adventure. A perfect ending. ♥

The Vampire Diaries - Oh man, this made me cry so much. So, so much, actual sobbing. I loved all the flashbacks, how they made Elena's journey a circular one: it ended where it started. It was heartbreaking to see Jenna again, and yet I was feeling so sorry for Rebekah and Elijah for losing their brother. I loved Stefan to pieces: I liked the Ripper storyline and all, but this is the character I fell in love with. He's the guy who respects so much Elena's wishes, that he'd save Matt before her because that's what she wants. And now that she's become a vampire, he's the one to blame. Tears, tears everywhere. I have absolutely no idea where they're going from here. Elena has always made it very clear she would have never wanted to become a vampire, so this is going to be the most traumatic experience yet for her. And let us not forget the fact that now she doesn't get to choose a Salvatore brother for the next 60 years, she's going to choose a partner for all eternity. What else? Evil!Alaric's death scene broke my heart to pieces: Damon's pain, and Ric's ghost talking to Jeremy, it was too much. And that new Sigur Ros song was the final twist of the knife in my poor heart.

I definitely wasn't expecting all that Klaus and Tyler bodyswapping. I hope that doesn't mean we won't see Joseph Morgan anymore, because he's such a great actor, I'm not ready to let go of him yet. Does that mean Bonnie is going evil or something? She's my least favourite character, too judgemental and boring, so that would be the perfect chance for her to get a nice, interesting storyline.

I had to put all the books I'm reading on hiatus because with that stupid fever I had to re-read every page three times before I'd get it, so I've been playing Okamiden instead. Apparently my feverish brain works enough for videogames at least. Anyway, there was this scene where the two main characters had to wear masks to enter the demon market, and I had to draw demon faces on the sheets. I drew a huge smiley face on one mask, and wrote "GET SHERLOCK" on the other one, because it was the most demonic thing I could think of. And they wore those masks for a good hour of cut scenes and fight scenes, it was awesome. :D
