"We move through miracle days, spirit moves in mysterious ways."

I'm back! Wonderful, wonderful trip, the hotel was fantastic and the weather was so warm it felt like summer. Also, lots of cosplayers, and shopping, and even an amazing concert with japanese instruments. On to the pictures!

This was our hotel. I kid you not. A freaking real medieval tower, we were on the second floor on top of a bakery, and you can't imagine the amazing smell of bread that filled the air. There were frescos on the walls, and the windows had stained glass, and it felt like something from a dream.

Exposure of real face alert! Me and my new haircut and my boobs. I gained some weight this last summer and holy crap I got it all where I wanted it. Me so happy.

I got in some kind of crazy shopping fever. Don't judge me, we skipped two years, I had a lot to buy. From the top, from left to right: a Totoro bag, Totoro plushie (soooo soft), Kingdom Hearts shirt, Arrietty Soundtrack, Coldplay's Mylo Xyloto (because it was there), Final Fantasy XIII Piano Collection, D.Gray-Man artbook, 70 years of Marvel Collection, first volume of Dark Tower, Totoro artbook.

Didn't want to take these two off the shelf, the Namine one is so amazing I have no words. There are tiny Sora, Goofy and Donald running up the stairs. It left me speechless when I saw it, and I just *had* to buy it.

The Tooth Fairy and Jorgen Von Strangle from Fairly Odd Parents. They even had the Da Rules book. Among the best cosplayers I have ever seen.

These guys were strolling around the medieval streets of Lucca and were so like the movie it was scary.

And here's another movie I used to watch every day as a child. I'm feeling like watching it again right now. :D

Two Doctors and Captain Jack in my country. This is beyond unbelievable. And they had a fucking life-size K9 on a leash, and the Fourth Doctor offered me a jelly baby and it was the tastiest thing ever just before my brain collapsed.

Fem!Eleven and the Tardis. I'm starting to regain faith in my country. We have pretty amazing people here, who knew.

More proof, here's Sheldon Cooper as the Doppler Effect. And the universe shut down because it couldn't stand all the awesomeness.

I've been back less than a day, and I'm trying to catch up with all my series, so right now my brain is a big soup of "they quoted Pulp Fiction on Supernatural and guess who's Honeybunny", "I can't believe there's only one episode of Downton Abbey left", "I'm in love with the Evil Queen and Maleficent" and "see you in hell Sheldon with no commas". And I still have a couple of things left to watch. ♥
